Free & Paid Tutoring Options

Free & paid tutoring options

IU Bloomington has devoted considerable resources to tutoring on campus, all of it included as part of enrollment. We want you to succeed! Many of the schools and departments will include tutoring as one of the key methods of student support, especially in the more demanding courses. Students have great success with these free services.

In addition to free services, some departments and programs have also collected lists of graduate and undergraduate experts who will help with one-on-one tutoring. This is quite common in language studies, for example, and also in some of the more difficult subjects. Students wishing to have a private tutor are encouraged to contact the department of the class and request a list of available tutors. It is up to the student to negotiate the cost per hour of such tutoring as well as arrange the schedule. On this tutoring website, contact info for paid private tutorials will be marked explicitly as such.
