Finite Math can be a challenging course for many IU Bloomington students. There are several drop-in times, options, and formats available to help you learn the course material. With more than 70 hours of tutoring available each week, you are sure to find a tutor to help!

The Student Academic Center offers special weekly study sessions via its PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions) Program. PASS Leaders attend the finite class with you so their information and knowledge is current and on pace with your instructor. The PASS website includes the schedule for face-to-face study sessions.
* If your section is not listed, or if you have a conflict, you can join any PASS session!
The Math Learning Center, part of the Department of Mathematics, offers weekly in-person tutoring sessions for MATH-M 118, MATH-D 116 and MATH-D 117. These are Monday - Friday, noon to 6p.
The Academic Support Center (ASC) offers tutoring in-person in the residential ASC locations and through Zoom for MATH-M 118, MATH-D 116 and MATH-D 117.
The Academic Success at Kelley (ASK) peer coaches offer one-on-one tutoring in Finite Math for admitted Kelley students and pre-Kelley University Division students. Individual tutoring sessions are scheduled online.

The Student Academic Center offers EDUC-X 101 Learning Strategies for Math, a 2 cr. hour, semester-long companion course for MATH-M 118 and MATH-D 116/117 that supplements your learning with focused academic coaching. The course is specially designed to help students excel in Finite Math.
